CURRENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE (last updated 4/7/21):
MAZAK CNC MILL OPERATOR: 1st SHIFT - Prior experience with close-tolerance tooling a must. A minimum of 3 years experience programming & running a CNC mill is required, Mazak experience a plus. Must have the ability to set up work directly from 3D data and inspect work pieces to 3D data, with proficiency in NX or SolidWorks software preferred. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently and also communicate well with others.
QUALITY INSPECTOR: 1st SHIFT - Responsibilities include: creating inspection layouts, performing incoming and in-process inspections, and certifying production to customer specifications using equipment ranging from hand-held instruments and gauges to multi-sensor measuring systems (vision, touch-probe and laser capable) and 3-D scanning. Required skills include understanding blueprints, knowledge of GD&T, SPC, spreadsheets/reports and familiarity with using inspection gauges and techniques to perform a variety of inspection tasks. A minimum of 5 years lab experience is also required.
QUALITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER: 1st SHIFT - Bachelors Degree and 5 years of previous QA/QC Management preferred. Responsibilities include: work with customers and program managers to define quality requirements on new products, develop and maintain PPAP documents, oversee supplier qualification activities, manage customer complaint investigations, and participate in internal, customer and regulatory compliance audits. Required skills include: knowledge of the ISO 13485 quality standard and problem-solving techniques (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, etc.), ability to lead team projects, and willingness to occasionally travel to customer or supplier sites. Knowledge of metrology instruments and inspection techniques preferred; experience with Zone 3, MeasureMind, OGP, or Keyance software and/or programming background is a definite plus.
ASSISTANT SHIFT SUPERVISOR/PROCESS TECH (Trainee) - 3rd SHIFT (11:45pm - 8:00am) - Requires the ability to train and learn new skills. Responsibilities include: Helping set up molds and start presses using a scientific approach, prepare boxes and supply materials, assist with overseeing molding department with 16 presses, help machine operators as needed, give breaks and operate machines, and help perform routine equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will learn set up and programming of automation equipment and troubleshooting skills through on-the-job and outside trainings.
APPRENTICE MOLD MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR TECHNICIAN - Self-starter who can work independently and communicate well with others. Knowledge of plastic injection molds and the ability to operate shop equipment including vertical mills and surface grinders a plus.
INJECTION MOLDING PRESS OPERATORS - 3rd SHIFT (11:45pm - 8:00am) - Responsibilities include: molding press operation (standing position), visual inspection of parts, de-gating/trimming and assembly tasks.
